PV Food Share
The PV Food Share program works in conjunction with the Kansas Food Bank to distribute food to those in need. Volunteers are needed to help pick up food from the Kansas Food Bank and to organize and distribute food boxes to guests.
Food Share is on a FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED basis from 3:30-4pm on the following dates in 2023:

UWF (United Women in Faith)
United Women in Faith is the largest denominational faith organization for women whose mission is fostering spiritual growth, developing leaders and advocating for justice. Members raise funds for programs and projects related to women, children and youth in the United States and in over 100 countries worldwide. PV UWF members put faith, hope and love into action by supporting mission projects worldwide with pledge giving, and give proceeds from our Ice Cream Social and the Cookie Walk to fund missions in the Wichita area.
Martha Fellowship meets monthly on the fourth Thursday at 1pm in the church parlor.
Sarah Fellowship is dedicated to serving God and the global ministries of the United Methodist Church. All who want to join are welcome. We meet the third Saturday of each month at 9:30am in a member’s home for a light brunch.
The Health Ministries Cabinet meets with and works closely with the PVUMC Care Team in ministry and care to all members of the congregation. The Cabinet currently provides a well-stocked supply of medical equipment available for check out and loan to members and friends of the church, including wheelchairs, walkers, crutches, commodes, shower benches and other various items. Blood pressures checks are offered. A card ministry in coordination with the PVUMC Care Team sends monthly cards to shut-in members and others. Articles promoting health and wellness and Health Ministries services are published regularly in the PVUMC newsletter.
